LANDSCAPES
Landscapes, seascapes, treescapes, and desertscapes. These pieces start with colored, powdered glass which is sifted on a base sheet of glass and kiln fired.. When cooled, the layering process begins. I used crushed, colored glass (called frit) in single layers, firing after each layer. The more detail, the more layers. The more it goes to the kiln, the more the glass looks like paint. But there is no paint used in any of my art.
