New works - Hot from the kiln

.   I am trying a new technique.  The top 3 pieces were created using a glass paste which I made out of glass powder and glue.  It is applied to a base piece of glass using a pallet knife (like artists doing Impasto painting).  That piece dries for 24 hrs before it goes to the kiln.  Multiple layers of glass paste is applied then fired in the kiln multiple times.
The bottom 3 pieces were created in my signature "frit painting" style reflecting my creative instincts and personal expression that define my work.   Click on the image to enlarge.
"Autumn Meditation" 12"x24" mounted on black panel. Created through a repeated process of layering powdered and crushed glass onto a base piece of glass as fired in a kiln. Each firing fused the new material into the surface, allowing depth, color and texture to build gradually. $800
